Joe Lieberman at The Republican National Convention?

Many Democratic politicians were crying, "Say it ain't so, Joe" when former Democrat and now Independent Joe Lieberman delivered a glowing address in support of John McCain on Tuesday September 2, 2008 at the Republican National Convention. Lieberman's speech gave an appeal to Democrat voters and called out to Hillary supporters to vote for John McCain for president.

Karl Rove said afterwards that Lieberman and Thompson should have switched the order of their speeches. Thompson went before Lieberman. After listening to them, I think he is right. If Lieberman would have went before Thompson, he might have been heard by more Hillary supporters, who were no doubt drowning their sorrows and may have been in bed by the time Thompson spoke.

Click the video below for the entire speech.
