Sarah Palin, the Governor of Alaska was named as John McCain's running mate and delivered a speech like a real pro at her debut at the Republican National Convention. I was amazed at her timing and her cadence delivering the speech but I was even more amazed the next day when I learned she delivered the last half of her speech WITHOUT the use of a teleprompter. You see, the teleprompter tech forgot to pause the teleprompter on applause lines. This means the teleprompter got way ahead of Sarah but she handles it well and most didn't notice the gaff.
